Outreach Committee Meeting June 30, 2009 7:30 to 9:30 at Tillie’s In attendance: Nicole Amanda Meredith Brian (Merchandising) Erin Steve (Branding) Melissa Welcome Meredith as new co-chair of committee! Outreach Meetings: - Will be held the third week of every month now- Co-chairs will establish a set date each month and send out information well in advance to committee members Merchandising Survey:
- Send out via newsletter - Send out on Facebook and Twitter - Enter to win if fill out survey: would need prizes, any leftover from go go grocery? (Erin will ask Diane and Kristina) - During general outreach, hand out postcard with info about survey, collect emails and send info about survey. - Send Emails to community organizations with blurb that they can send to their constituents about survey (Erin)
- We will hold off until we see how many people fill out the electronic survey and the diversity of the people who fill out the survey - Revisited at next meeting Branding: - Visualization Guide: be looked at by outreach members and approved by Friday, July 3rd - Other printed materials (brochure, business cards, sign-up sheets, postcard) – suggested changes were made for the business card, sign-up sheet and postcard - Brochure text will be sent out to meeting attendees (other members if requested) to review and send edits to co-chairs. Media - Erin met with student from Columbia’s School of Journalism, who is writing an article about the coop for a school publication. She will send us the link to the article as soon as it is posted -
