Here we are researching Product Categories, Sales, Quality, Sustainability, Vendors, Environmental Impact, etc. Below are documents we are building data or studying to learn about make recommendations. Our first mission is to study the main 8 categories and identify biggest selling general items in each category. I think becasue of the cluttered nature of the sales report we need two people each to work on Groceries and Household. Please take a category and let us know that you want to help. Baked Goods - Eda Bulk - Tubbs Produce - Sylvia(Fruits) & Sarah KB (Vegetables) Groceries(all packaged food product) - Carola & _______ Dairy - Sarah C Households(Kitchen Supplies, Cleaners, Paper goods, Personal Care) - Lisa M & ______ Frozen - Tubbs What to Do?: download the category_sales_report_summary and highlight the general items with the most sales. You'll see how the Name, Count and Amount are the columns to use. We are vaguely looking for the top 10-20 general items. Obviously more in Produce than Groceries or Household, because the demand and need for fresh produce was highest in our surveys and items with a shorter home shelf-life (implying - you can't stock much up from another store farther away). Once general items are narrowed down we will research more detailed products, brands, distributors, etc. Detailed sheets of both Veggies and Fruits separated and listed below. The "xtra.doc" has some dairy and flowers, yes, flowers :) As for the rest (Frozen, Groceries, Bulk, Breads, Dairy and Household goods), open "salesreportdetail." Its a monstrous document (500pgs). Use the product category labels, i.e "FRZN," from the summary report, to help you sort through. Study the COUNTS of Items and start to comprehend how many items we might recommend for our inventory. |
